Who am I?
I am a young woman in my fifties from Quebec, Canada,
ferociously in
love with life!
This website, a
non-profitable idea, is the result of my childhood
dream. Even at a very young age, I would earn money for poor countries. My
idol was already Mother Theresa - her overwhelming generosity and love
were always a source of inspiration to me. I even wanted to become a
missionnary but life had different plans for me.
One day, while talking to a lady in France, the idea of "SOS Louiza"
came about. (Thank you, sweet Violette!). This lady touched me with her
personal story and I realized, with consternation, how difficult it was
for women around the world to have access to vital information for
their wellbeing and safety, such as information about their basic legal
rights. "SOS Louiza" was born shortly thereafter.
The mission of "SOS Louiza" is to give access to women worldwide a
variety of important pieces of information, such as their fundamental human
rights. I added, through time, the addressses of different Help
Centers. I eventually added the section of Relaxation and Serenity, a section
on the defense of Women's Human Rights in Quebec, and information about
women's rights according to Amnesty International. You will soon be
able to enjoy a section on quick and easy recipes, which will be
supervised by my dear Mother Jade.
Why use the Sunflower as a logo? Sunflowers personify attachment, the
sun, fertility, health and vitality.
Why Louiza? Louiza, for starters, was a very kind young lady whom I met
in France.
Louiza was also the name that Louis XV gave his gold medalion.
Louiza is a winner, a go-getter! She personifies women all over the
world.
Thanks
I want to thank my lovely daughter (Blue
Ice) for having created the
beautiful logo of a sunflower above - you will surely see more of her
creations in this site.
Thank you to Pop for having taught me how to create this website, and
thank you to his wonderful wife who wrote a few letters.
Thank you to Thomas, the very first person who supported and encouraged
me in this project.
Thank you to Neus, Boss and to all the other wonderful people who
helped me make this dream come true.
Thank you to Mother Jade for having believed in me and to have made me
discover the Serenity site. My section of Relaxation and Serenity was
inspired by it.
Thank you to
Serenity for having suggested the title of this section.
Thank you to Mireille. Our friendship is but only just blossoming.
I still have many ideas to help improve women's lives. All your ideas
are welcome! You're invited to communicate with me at this address :
